[The Story]
A beautiful tale combining elements of Cinderella and traditional Japanese folklore! It follows the struggles of an honest salt seller and his beautiful daughter, Koshio. Despite facing cruel harassment from an evil old woman, Koshio stays true to her kind heart. She saves a magical Mandarin duck, which later transforms into a noble official to rescue her family. Ultimately, Koshio finds true love and happiness with a wealthy nobleman in disguise. A classic story teaching that "honest people are always rewarded."
